What is Nunatta Paasissutissai?

A free, lightweight daily-information panel for Greenland — built for residents and visitors alike. It combines, town by town for 15 settlements (Nuuk, Sisimiut, Ilulissat, Qaqortoq, Aasiaat, Tasiilaq, Uummannaq, Upernavik, Qaanaaq, Kangerlussuaq and more): hourly weather and wind gusts, wave height and tide times, sunrise, sunset, polar night and midnight-sun countdowns, an aurora (northern lights) outlook that combines NOAA’s Kp forecast with local cloud cover and darkness, and a flight-weather risk estimate per route based on gusts, visibility and snowfall at both ends. Sea-ice judgement is deliberately left to the official DMI Ice Service charts. Everything loads from public APIs (Open-Meteo, NOAA SWPC) with no account and no app install — it works on slow connections.

Hunting & catch reporting (Piniarneq)

Quotas, seasons and licences in Greenland are set by Naalakkersuisut and change over time; catches must be reported. This panel links to the official channels — Sullissivik for licences and catch reporting and Naalakkersuisut for current regulations — and offers a private, on-device catch log you can export as CSV when you file your official report.
